We personally had Lars and Ram from Colourlock come out to Obsessed Garage and show me their techniques for cleaning leather and Alcantara so we can learn more about the process of caring for car interiors. During their visit, we talked about the different Colourlock leather cleaners and going over the correct methods and what cleaners to use for your specific type of leather. The Colourlock Artificial Leather Cleaner is meant for artificial or plastic leather surfaces and is provided in a foam dispenser bottle. Foams clean the leather more efficiently than liquid agents. You would use this 200ml of Artificial Leather Cleaner is usually sufficient for the cleaning of a whole car interior.
Application:
- Put some Artificial Leather Cleaner on a moistened ColourLock Sponge Block or use a if the leather has dirt deeply ingrained in the leather. Never put foam directly on the leather!
- With the cleaner applied to your foam block wipe several times from seam to seam, if the foam looks dirty take a slightly damp cloth like our and wipe off the dirty foam and continue wiping from seam to seam. If you need to use a for stubbornly ingrained dirt you should start by putting some foam on the brush and work in circular motion gently and wiping with our after a few circular passes.
- Now that the leather is clean take your slightly damp cloth like our and wipe off and foam or residue.

Application Tips:
Always test any products first on a hidden area in case they affect the color.
Apply Cleaner on a slightly moistened sponge and press the foam out of it. Clean the surface with the foam. Use the to remove dirt from the grain. Remove the dirty foam residue with a clean and slightly moistened piece of cloth.
